Family and friends of Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh on Friday 26 August said their final goodbyes as they buried The Johnsons actress.

Ada Ameh was laid to rest in her family house situated in her hometown Ogobia, Otupko local government area of Benue state.

The burial ceremony started around 11:00 am as her corpse was brought for church service.

Okay.ng recalls that she died on the night on Sunday 17 of July, in Warri, Delta state after reportedly collapsing.

Although the exact cause of her death was not revealed, it may however be connected to depression.

The actress had lost her daughter, Aladi God gift in 2020. Her daughter died after an unsuccessful surgery in Abuja. Ada said that life had not remained the same since her daughter’s death.

Ada Ameh was born and raised in Ajegunle in Lagos State. She spent more than two decades in the Nigerian movie industry and was most notable for her character as Anita in the 1996 movie titled Domitilla.

She was best known for playing the role of Emu Johnson in the award-winning Nigerian television series titled The Johnsons.
