Sani Yellow was widely classified by security agencies as a senior operational commander whose criminal network controlled the dense forest corridors spanning Anka, Bukkuyum, and Maru local government areas. His cell was heavily linked to widespread sexual violence, cattle rustling, and strategic highway ambushes that displaced thousands of rural residents across the North-West geopolitical zone.
