NUC Orders Immediate Reversal of Five-point Grading System

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has ordered the immediate reversal and adoption of the five-point grading system across Nigerian universities.

Recall that some universities (mostly private) had initially switched to the four-point grading system.

However, the NUC in a letter dated October 15 and directed to Vice Chancellors to immediately adopt the five-point grading system after the controversies that surrounded the earlier adoption of the four-point grading system by some universities.
