The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) coordinator in Taraba State, Mr. Ella Aji Williams, has issued a stern warning to corps members serving in the state against embarking on night journeys.

During the closing ceremony for the 2024 Batch ‘A’ stream II, Mr. Williams directed the Corps members to refrain from traveling at night and advised them to break their journeys by 6:00 PM.

He emphasized the importance of safety and urged them to locate the nearest military or police barracks if they find themselves running late.

Furthermore, the coordinator cautioned against boarding vehicles by the roadside and encouraged the Corps members to use designated motor parks to ensure their safety.

“I wish to reiterate management’s travel advice to the Corps members against embarking on night travel. You are required to eschew night voyages. Endeavor to break your journey once it is six in the evening. Available locations for you to pass the night include police stations, military barracks, and any close NYSC secretariat or orientation camp,” he stated.
