OAU Warns Students To Stay Indoors.

The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife on Tuesday evening warned students to stay off areas where the Oro activities would take place.

This was contained in a circular by the acting Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. (Mrs) Lateefat Durosinmi‎, on Tuesday.

Durosimi urged the students to remain indoors pending the completion of the Oro rites.

According to her, “This is to inform the generality of students that there shall be a curfew in Ile-Ife on Wednesday, 12th August, 2015 from 9.00am to 4pm and from 11pm till dawn.”
