Edo 2020: Obaseki resigns from APC after disqualification

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Okay.ng understands that Obaseki made this announcement following his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.

The governor said he will in days to come announce the new political platform where he will be seeking his re-election soon.

It can be recalled that the national working committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) disqualified Obaseki from re-contesting in the governorship election under the party.
