Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has inaugurated a 20-member transition committee to facilitate a seamless transition of power and knowledge to the next administration. The committee, chaired by former Finance Commissioner Joseph Eboigbe, aims to document the achievements of the current administration and provide a comprehensive report to guide the incoming government.

Governor Obaseki stated that the committee’s tasks include creating a digital data room, retrieving and documenting policy decisions, contracts, and presentations, and providing recommendations for the next administration. The report is expected to be completed by October 30, 2024, and will serve as a valuable resource for the incoming administration.
