The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said the general elections which was scheduled for today, February 16, 2019 has been postponed to February 23, 2019.

INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, announced this at a press briefing on Saturday morning held at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.

The press briefing after an emergency meeting of the INEC boss with top officials of the commission which started late on Friday night.
