Imo Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Governor Rochas Okorocha for “gross anti-party activities.”
Marcellinus Nlemigbo, Imo State APC Caretaker Committee Chairman, revealed this on Thursday in Owerri.
“A letter by the Imo State chapter of the APC signed by the chairman conveyed the suspension to the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole.
“We regretted that Okorocha who is the party’s candidate for Imo West Senatorial District has vowed to undermine the APC and its electoral interest.”
okay recalls that Okorocha is in a running battle with the APC following the party’s inability to give his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, its governorship ticket for the 2019 elections.
