Nigerian player Ogenyi Onazi has rejoined his Trabzonspor team-mates after making the Super Eagles squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
He came on for Hugo Rodallega in the 63rd minute in the club’s 2-0 win over Slovenian second division side, Triglav, on Sunday.
Onazi, excited over his return to the side, is looking forward to a rewarding 2018/2019 Turkish Super Lig campaign.
He took to his Twitter handle on Tuesday to express his desire and aspiration.
“It was good to be back on the pitch again doing what I love,” Onazi wrote.
“I’m looking forward to the new season with Trabzonspor, believing we will do better than we did last season.”
Trabzonspor will face Locomotiv Zagreb later today (Tuesday) in another pre-season game.
