Ondo 2020: Akeredolu wins APC governorship primary

The Ondo State Governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu has emerged the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the October 10 governorship election in the state.

The indirect primary election took place at Dove Centre in Akure.

Akeredolu won in all the local government areas of the state, defeating seven other aspirants.

Here is a breakdown of votes cast:

Rotimi Akeredolu: 2,458 votes
Olusola Oke: 262 votes
Isaac Kekemeke: 19 votes
Nathaniel: 4 votes
Adelami: 4 votes
Anifowose: 2 votes
Ifeoluwa Oyedele: 1 vote
Okejimi: No Vote
