Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has departed Nigeria to attend an Extra-Ordinary ECOWAS summit in Niger Republic on Friday.

Laolu Akande,  the spokesman to the vice president, disclosed this in a tweet.

Osinbajo is representing President Muhammadu Buhari to discuss the political issue in Guinea Bissau.

It can be recalled that Buhari is in London on a private visit after completion of the lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
