Minority Leader of the Osun State House of Assembly, Oladejo Makinde is dead, Vanguard reports.

The lawmaker who represents Ife Central Constituency died, Sunday afternoon, in a hospital in Ekiti state.

Makinde, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the state was said to have died after a brief illness.

Late Makinde was a former chairman, Ife Central Local Government Area of the state.

His corpse was said to have been deposited at the mortuary of Ekiti State Teaching Hospital.

The Chairman, Osun Assembly Committee on Information and Strategy, Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye confirmed his death to Vanguard.
