IFETEDO, Nigeria – Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to expanding rural infrastructure and improving public services across Ife South Local Government Area.
Okay News reports that the governor made the commitment after commissioning a 3-kilometre road in Ifetedo, where he received support from residents, traditional rulers and community leaders.
Adeleke said the warm reception from communities including Garage Olode, Ifetedo and Awolowo had encouraged his administration to maintain its focus on people-centred governance.
He pledged to expand rural infrastructure, improve healthcare services and recruit more medical and education personnel across the state. The governor also promised to ensure that Garage Olode is connected to the national electricity grid.
Adeleke said his administration had remained focused despite the challenges and distractions it had faced, adding that projects delivered across Osun’s local government areas demonstrated its commitment to development.
The governor said his administration would continue working to improve the state and urged residents to support its development agenda as it pursues what he described as a path of progress for Osun.
