Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has embarked on a work-related trip to Europe and Asia, seeking partnerships with investors and development allies, as confirmed by the governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.

The governor, who has been continuously engaged in state affairs since his assumption of office a year ago, aims to solidify collaboration agreements across various sectors with investors who had previously expressed interest in the state. Rasheed emphasized, “The governor’s trip is an opportunity to finalize essential partnerships that will significantly benefit our state.”

Quoting Governor Adeleke before his departure, the statement outlined his commitment to the people of Osun: “While accountable to the citizens who elected me, this trip is an essential part of enhancing our state’s economic prospects. Osun’s progress remains paramount, and this journey is a step toward securing investments vital for our state’s development.”

Highlighting the achievements of his administration in the past year, the governor underscored the significant strides made in stabilizing and reconstructing Osun State, leading to the initiation of various developmental projects. Governor Adeleke concluded, “Our focus remains on the sustained growth of critical sectors and the successful implementation of our multi-billion naira infrastructure plan, detailed in our Budget of Reconstruction and Recovery for 2024.”
