#OsunDecides2018: Massive Turnout in Ede, Osogbo As Voting Exercise Begins

Accreditation and voting exercises have started in most of the towns in the Saturday governorship election in Osun State.

As early as 7.00 am, voters were already at their polling units awaiting election materials.

According to citizens reports and other live tweets monitored by okay.ng, voting had started in Osogbo, Ede, other areas of the state.

Long queues of electorate waiting to exercise their civic rights are seen in Ede South Local Government Area [Anu Olu, Ward 4, Unit 8] and Polling Unit 13, Ward 4, Fagbewesa, Osogbo Local Government.

In most of the polling units, the card readers are working and authenticating voter’s card

Security arrangements were also good in those towns as the policemen were civil.

As early as 7 am, voting materials, INEC officials and security personnel are already in designated polling units.
