Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has declared his ambition to secure the Premier League title for the Red Devils, despite a challenging start to his tenure.

Amorim, 39, took charge during the November international break, replacing Erik ten Hag. Since his arrival, the Portuguese coach has faced a mixed bag of results, including Thursday night’s dramatic 4-3 Carabao Cup exit at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Amorim remains focused on a long-term vision for the club. Speaking after the defeat, he emphasized the importance of continuous improvement and setting ambitious goals.

“We can’t think winning silverware will fix everything. We are improving as a team,” Amorim said. “Our goal is to win the Premier League. How long it will take I don’t know.”

Manchester United currently sit in 13th place on the Premier League table, six points behind the coveted fourth spot and a significant 14 points adrift of leaders Liverpool.
