Over 4,000 members of the PDP Sokoto State on Sunday defected to the APC.
The new members were received into the APC fold by Governor Aliyu Wamakko.
Wamakko then promised the party’s new entrants of equal and fair treatment with the
older members of the party.
The governor said APC was out to salvage Nigeria and expressed optimism that it would win the 2015 general elections at all levels.
