Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) Scholarships program

Oxford University is offering the Islamic Studies Scholarship to African Muslim Students who wants to undergo a Masters or DPhil course program in Islamic Studies.

This scholarship is provided to allow graduates pursue study of benefit to the Muslim world. It will cover 100% of University and college fees and a grant for living costs (of at least £14,296)

Eligibility

– Applicants must be applying to start a new full-time master’s or DPhil course at Oxford.

– Applicants must either be an ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom and from a Muslim community (with preference given to those from a financially disadvantaged household) OR a National of, and ordinarily resident in, one of the following countries in Asia and Africa.

– Applicants should be intending to return to your country of ordinary residence once their course is completed.

– Applicants should be intending to undertake a course of study relating to Islamic Tradition.

Application Process

Interested and Eligible applicants should complete an Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Scholarships Supporting Statement and upload it, together with their Graduate Application Form.

Application Deadline

The application deadline for this scholarship is on 8th or 19th of January 2018
