The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State is mourning the sudden demise of one of its governorship hopefuls, Paul Akintelure.
The news of his passing was confirmed by his spokesperson, Oladapo Akintelure, in a statement released on Tuesday.
According to the statement, Akintelure, a medical doctor by profession, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday after reportedly complaining of chest pain. The exact cause of his death has not been disclosed.
Paul Akintelure’s untimely demise comes as a shock to many, particularly within political circles as the Ondo governorship poll is scheduled to take place on November 16, 2024.
