Residents of Okugbe, Okpella, Estako East Local Government area of Edo State, on Friday, have been thrown into a state of tension, following clash between supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The clash between the supporters of both parties led to the destruction of property in the area.
Trouble started when some PDP thugs allegedly stormed the Divisional Police Post in the area and attempted to forcefully release some of their arrested members from the police cell.
Following resistance from officers of the Force, the alleged PDP thugs went on rampage and started attacking and destroying vehicles and other property belonging to supporters of the APC.
