Mrs Elizabeth Ativie was on Tuesday as the new Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly.
She was elected after former Speaker Victor Edoror was impeached after being accused of high-handedness and incompetence. She is a long-standing member of the assembly and represents Uhunmwode Constituency of the state.
