Abuja-kaduna-1

The Abuja-Kaduna rail project is 100 per cent completed.

The official test-run of the transport system took place yesterday. President Muhammed Buhari will within the first week of July, flag-off the rail line for commercial operations.

The 186.5km standard gauge track was built by the China Railway Construction Corporation with double lines over a period of three years at a cost of $850m. It has nine stations and the train runs at 150km per hour.
