President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday met his America counterpart Donald Trump at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Both leaders met at a lunch in honor of select African Heads of State, hosted by the President Trump.
This is the first time both leaders are meeting since they were both elected presidents.
According to a statement by the Presidency, Mr Buhari thanked the American leader for his goodwill message earlier in the year, and also sought his support for the speedy repatriation of looted Nigerian funds stashed away in the US.
