Former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience, reportedly led a very large delegation of former governors as well as other political office holders to Minna, Niger state on Friday, to grace the wedding ceremony of Halima, the daughter of former military ruler, Ibrahim Babangida.


 

The former president sat next to his political rival and national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Halima is getting married to Auwal Lawal Abdullai who is the Sarkin Sudan of Gombe.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the wedding ceremony which was to commence at 11:30 am was yet to hold at 1:50 pm.
