This is the dramatic moment a soldier was blown into the air before being thrown to the ground by strong winds that lifted the national flag he was holding.
The incident took place during a military ceremony in Durango, north of Mexico City, which involved members of the armed forces parading a large Mexican flag.
A strong gust of wind lifted the flag into the air and as everyone else let go, a lone soldier was carried into the sky. See more photos after the cut:
