Two people have died and eight others were injured following a violent shooting that erupted outside a church in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Wednesday.
The incident occurred in the parking lot of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while a funeral service was taking place inside.
Police spokesperson Glen Mills confirmed that an altercation outside the chapel escalated quickly, resulting in multiple gunshots that were captured by nearby surveillance cameras.
