The Borno state Commissioner of Police Damian Isuku has mobilized to the scene of the blast for on the spot assessment of the situation.
Bomb Blast at University of Maiduguri Mosque
The Borno state police spokesman Victor Isuku has confirmed to journalists the early morning explosion at the University of Maiduguri.
He noted that the blast happened during early morning prayers by Muslim faithfuls, and promised to provide more details soon.
