Policeman Gets Jail Time After Driving Ferrari To Work

Osman Iqbal, a British man who made a modest living as a police officer aroused suspicion when he turned up to work in a £170,000 Ferrari, was hence investigated and sent to jail for being the leader of a gang crime network.

The Metro report that Osman was eventually found out to be the leader of an organised crime gang peddling drugs, helping to run a brothel and laundering money.

He was jailed for seven years and is now facing three new charges of misconduct in a public office.

Iqbal who served with the West Midlands police, pleaded guilty and admitted making unauthorised attempts to access police intelligence systems while with the police force.

He was remanded in custody to be sentenced later at Warwick Crown Court in England and has been by West Midland Police after disciplinary proceedings.
