Tim LaHaye leader of the Christian fundamentalist movement and co-author of wildly popular Christian fiction Series Left Behind has died.

The Rev. died in San Diego yesterday after suffering a stroke a little while ago. He was 90 years old.

His Left Behind series which he wrote along with Jerry. B. Jenkins was an amazing success. The book had twelve titles along with a teen series and a set of prequel books.

The books sold more than 80 million copies worldwide and has been translated into over a dozen languages.

He is survived by his wife, Beverley LaHaye who founded the Concerned Women for America. They celebrated their
