Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has accused fellow artist Zlatan of attempting to sow discord between him and Davido.
The accusation comes after Portable recently had dinner with Davido at a restaurant in Atlanta, USA.
Portable, known for his hit song ‘Zazoo Zeh,’ praised Davido after the ‘Assurance’ singer gifted him a luxurious pair of Dior sneakers.
However, during an Instagram live video on Wednesday, Portable alleged that Zlatan had tried to sabotage their budding camaraderie.
According to Portable, Zlatan called Davido via video call during their outing and advised Portable to be cautious around Davido. Portable claimed that this call led to a noticeable shift in Davido’s demeanor, prompting him to question Portable about a rumored diss track involving Dammy Krane.
“When Davido took me clubbing in America, Zlatan called him on a video call and he gave the phone to me. Zlatan started warning me to behave myself around Davido,” Portable said.
Portable further expressed confusion and frustration over Zlatan’s actions, suggesting that Zlatan’s call had negatively impacted the evening.
“Why would you call Davido while we were together and try to pick a fight with me on the phone for chilling with Davido? Did Wizkid not give you a chance? Why is Zlatan angry seeing me with Davido?” he questioned.
He continued, “His call ruined the mood. After Davido ended the call, he told me that he heard that I did a song with Dammy Krane beefing with him. I told him it was all lies. You guys should warn Zlatan to stay clear of my business.”
