Controversial singer Portable has publicly praised and prayed for Burna Boy after receiving a ₦20 million gift from the Grammy-winning superstar to celebrate his recent celebrity boxing match victory over Speed Darlington.
In a post shared on his Instagram story, Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, thanked Burna Boy for the generous gesture and described him as a true “Odogwu”, a term used to express greatness and respect.
“20 million from @burnaboygram. If you wanna be like Odogwu, can you do like Odogwu? God bless your family,” Portable wrote.
The gesture came just hours after Portable secured a TKO victory against Speed Darlington in a highly anticipated celebrity boxing match held Friday night.
The singer dominated the fight, which ended in the second round after Darlington failed to continue.
