President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after spending 13 days in Lagos, where he actively participated in the Golden Jubilee anniversary celebrations of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and observed this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival.

The President’s aircraft landed at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at approximately 2:10 pm. On arrival, he was received by a delegation of senior government officials, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, and the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Immediately after landing, President Tinubu proceeded to the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja to inaugurate the newly rehabilitated facility. The rehabilitation project was managed by the Ministry of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

In a significant development, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, announced the renaming of the Abuja International Conference Centre to the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre. Additionally, Wike revealed that other halls within the complex have been named after prominent Nigerian leaders, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, and Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kekere-Ekun.
