According to a statement from Mr Babachir Lawal, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), President Muhammadu Buhari has approved Mr. Muhammadu Buba as the Chairman of the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, PPPRA.
Buba was appointed following the demand labour that government should reconstitute the board of the agency. The labour is against FG’s recent hike of pump price of petrol to N146 per litre.
The Board of PPPRA which has the statutory role of determining and fixing the prices of petroleum products has not been constituted for over four years.
