Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Isi Ala 1 of Isieketa Ancient Kingdom, His Majesty Eze Nelson Nmerengwa, who turns 60 years on July 27.

The President’s congratulatory message is in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina in Abuja on Thursday.

Adesina stated that “Buhari joined the government and people of Abia, the Abia Traditional Council, family members and friends of the royal father in commemorating the milestone.

He noted that the traditional ruler’s birthday also coincided with his 19th year on the throne.

The President affirmed that the Isi Ala 1 of Isieketa, as custodian of the peoples’ culture, had upheld and promoted the values of communal living with wisdom and dignity, while always mobilizing his domain for community development and civic duties.

He also lauded him “for his unwavering position on the unity of the country.”

Buhari prayed that Almighty God would grant the royal father long life, good health and more wisdom to keep serving his people and the country.
