CHIBOK-VISIT

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday afternoon received Amina Nkeki Ali, the missing Chibok schoolgirl rescued from the captivity of Boko Haram terrorists, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Ali, who arrived with the Borno State Governor, Kashim Shetima in black SUV around 2:45 pm, carried her four-month old baby in her arms as she went to meet with the President.

She was shielded from talking to journalists as she was led to the President’s office along with other persons who came with her from Borno State.

Before now, the military had handed her over to Governor Shettima, after which “She was airlifted by Nigeria Air Force Super Puma aircraft from Damboa to Maiduguri alongside her baby and supposed husband, Mohammed Hayatu,” according to a statement issued by the spokesman of the army, Sani Usman.
