Nigeria’s President is set to visit Edo State next week Monday and Tuesday respectively.

The visit is part of activities lined up for the send forth party organized by the state government in honour of the outgoing Governor Adams Oshiomhole whose tenure will end next week after eight years in office as governor of the state.

According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Julius Ihonvbere and made available to nesmen in Benin the state capital, the President will use the occasion of his historic visit to pay a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty, Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II.

He is expected to also commission several key projects in the state, including the new 5-Star Central Hospital in Benin City; the Upper Siluko road and the Samuel Ogbemudia College (formerly New Era College, Benin City, amongst others.
