The D-Day is here as Prince Harry and former Hollywood actress Meghan Markle say their ‘I dos’ in front of the British royal family.

The pair will officially become husband and wife at Windsor Castle as the world watches them make history.

Meghan, an American, will be the first Princess with a black bloodline to be joining the world’s biggest royal family.

Over 100,000 people will witness this union which begins around 1100 GMT at St George’s Chapel with Queen Elizabeth II in attendance and stars of Suite, popular TV series Meghan featured in.

Gospel choir will be singing “Stand By Me” and Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, who will be officiating the wedding, “very sensible” and “self possessed”.

“There’s profound affection between them which is wonderful and a deep understanding and mutual support,” he said.

“You see (it) in the way they respond to each other, caring for each other.”

Meanwhile, Markle suffered a major breakdown after her father, Thomas, was declared unfit by doctors.

He recently embarked on a heart surgery which was successful but he is still recovering.

Following this development, Prince Charles has volunteered to walk his daughter-in-law to be down the aisle.
