Benin, Nigeria – Tension has continued to build around the Benin Palace following claims of unauthorized access involving popular streamer Peller, as Queen Ewuare released a letter she says proves the visit was officially approved.
Okay News reports that the letter, addressed to the palace ahead of the March 3, 2026 visit, formally notified authorities of Peller’s planned appearance and requested a brief audience with Oba Ewuare II. It also indicated that Uyi Ekpen Ogiefa, son of a Benin chief, would accompany the streamer. According to Queen Ewuare, the document bears a palace stamp, which she argues confirms that due process was followed.
In a strongly worded Instagram post, the royal figure rejected claims by the Benin Traditional Council that the visit was unauthorized. She insisted the council’s position is misleading and suggested that deeper, undisclosed issues are at the heart of the dispute.
While the situation continues to generate reactions online, Queen Ewuare reassured supporters who reached out over the controversy, noting that the matter extends beyond the public narrative and hinting at more complex internal developments yet to be revealed.
