Kanu

The Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has been granted bail. He is however still in the custody of the DSS as he has not met the conditions of the bail.

Kanu, who is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOD) was granted bail in the sum of 2 million naira or with a surety of 2 million naira with a civil servant of grade level 16.

According to his lawyer, Mr.Egechukwu Obetta, Kanu was detained in the same cell with terrorists, despite his health challenges. Obetta said Kanu is selective to food and will never eat any food served by the federal government of Nigeria.
