Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has given approval for the modification of official working hours in the public service during the Holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement issued by Alhassan Sule Mamudo, the Chief Information Officer at the Office of the Head of Service, the adjustment in working hours was communicated to the press.

Effective immediately, public servants are instructed to adhere to the revised working schedule, which extends from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Mondays through Thursdays. On Fridays, the official working hours are shortened, running from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

“This adjustment covers the month of Ramadan (Fasting) only and normal working hours commence immediately after the month of Ramadan,” the statement clarified.
