Barcelona moved four points clear at the top of La Liga after a dominant 5–2 victory over Sevilla, inspired by a hat-trick from Raphinha.
Okay News reports that the Brazilian winger starred at Spotify Camp Nou, scoring twice from the penalty spot before adding a third goal early in the second half to complete his hat-trick.
Barcelona opened the scoring inside seven minutes when João Cancelo was brought down in the penalty area, allowing Raphinha to convert from the spot with a Panenka finish.
Ten minutes later, Cancelo again played a key role after his run into the box forced a handball by José Carmona. Following a VAR review, Raphinha stepped up to fire home his second penalty of the match.
Dani Olmo extended Barcelona’s lead before halftime, finishing neatly after being set up by Marc Bernal.
Sevilla briefly responded through Juanlu Sánchez’s cross that set up Oso for a volleyed goal in stoppage time.
However, Barcelona quickly regained control after the break when Raphinha completed his hat-trick with a deflected strike to effectively seal the victory.
Cancelo later capped an impressive performance by scoring Barcelona’s fifth goal, while Sevilla managed a late consolation that proved insufficient to alter the outcome.
The victory keeps Barcelona firmly on course in the title race, maintaining their advantage over rivals Real Madrid at the top of the table.
