Rapinoe speaks as USA wins fourth FIFA Women’s World Cup

Captain of the U.S women’s football team Megan Rapinoe has expressed her joy after they defeated Netherlands 2-0 to win their fourth FIFA Women’s World Cup on Sunday.

Speaking in excitement, Rapinoe said: “I don’t think I can. It’s unbelievable to know all the people who put in so much in this group.

“We have all our families and friends here. It’s surreal. I don’t know how to feel right now. It’s ridiculous.”
