Rapper Desiigner, 4 Others Arrested For Drug, Gun Possession in NYC

Budding American rapper and G.O.O.D Music signee Desiigner has just been arrested in accompany with four other people in New York City as a result of drug and gun possession.

The 19 year who made famous with monster hit single ‘Panda’ was arrested on Thursday September 8.

According to TMZ, Desiigner and others who were inside an SUV were involved in an exchange with another car. The driver of the other vehicle reportedly called the police, claiming that the rapper pulled a gun on them.

Even after the SUV pulled away from the scene, the driver of the second car wrote down the plate number of the vehicle.

Police officers later found the SUV and following a quick search, discovered a lot of loose pills in the centre console, TMZ reports.

According to Law enforcement sources, Oxycontin was found amongst other drugs.

Desiigner and the 4 others in the SUV were immediately arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance as well as criminal possession of drugs with
intent to sell, which are both felonies.

The rapper, also faces felony charges of possession of a loaded weapon and menacing.

The five people arrested are still in police
custody at the moment.
