Liverpool have offered £43m for Real Madrid ace Marco Asensio
The 21-year-old impressed for Champions League winners this season, despite getting limited game time.
The winger started just 11 La Liga games under Zinedine Zidane as Real won the title ahead of their rivals Barcelona.
Asensio netted 10 goals and chipped in with three assists in all competitions.
He is behind Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema in the pecking order at the Bernabeu.
And according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Liverpool have made a £43m offer (€50m) for Asensio.
Jurgen Klopp is a fan of the youngster and is keen to bring him to the Premier League.
The Reds will splash the cash this summer, with Champions League football returning to Anfield next season.
Liverpool were set to land Southampton defender Virgil Van Dijk in the transfer window but the Reds have now ended their interest in the Holland star.
The Saints claimed Klopp’s side made an illegal approach for the 25-year-old, who is also wanted by Chelsea and Manchester City.
