Reality TV personality Angel Smith, known for her appearance on Big Brother Naija, has responded vehemently to critics amid swirling rumors suggesting a breakup with her former co-star Soma.
The speculation gained traction after Angel recently unfollowed Soma on social media, sparking questions about the status of their relationship. Adding fuel to the fire, Soma updated a birthday message he posted for Angel back in February.
Taking to the X platform, Angel addressed the rumors head-on, expressing frustration over what she described as relentless bullying and false accusations directed at her on social media.
In her candid statement, Angel asserted that she has chosen to remain silent despite facing unwarranted criticism and baseless allegations.
“Since 2021, you guys have been bullying me for no reason, even spreading untrue accusations, and yet I haven’t uttered a word,” Angel wrote, addressing her detractors. “You don’t like me, I’ve heard. I’m a bad girl, I’ve heard. Honestly, shut the hell up.”
Refuting claims that she and Soma engaged in public spats following their alleged breakup, Angel questioned the audacity of individuals to speculate about their personal lives.
“Even if we broke up, so????? If that were the case? Did you see us dragging ourselves online?” she challenged, admonishing those who speculated about their relationship status.
