Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has made a shocking revelation in her ongoing feud with estranged husband Senator Ned Nwoko, alleging that he possesses a private recording of her, a sextape, which she fears he could use against her.
In a Instagram story posted on Sunday, the Nollywood star accused Nwoko of betrayal and psychological manipulation, saying she once trusted him completely but now feels violated by his actions.
“I trusted you with all of me, even with my sextape which I pray never sees the light,” she wrote. “But you have always been a step ahead negatively. Foolish me! When I married you at 17, was I on drugs? I thank God for time.”
The revelation marks the latest turn in the public breakdown of the couple’s marriage, which has dominated headlines across Nigeria and abroad. Daniels said her name may be “ruined for now” but vowed to “rewrite her story,” declaring that the narrative surrounding her alleged drug use — previously amplified by Nwoko — will “be dead and gone.”
In the same post, she accused the lawmaker of encouraging her to use drugs during their relationship and later weaponizing it to destroy her reputation. “It is now in history that ‘Regina Daniels did drugs’ because that was what her husband wanted, believe it or not,” she stated.
The actress further described her ex-husband as “narcissistic and manipulative,” pledging to challenge him legally. “Now that I have let the one thing you have on me out, what else? It’s time to fight with all of me in court! I’m not backing down now,” she wrote.
Regina also expressed deep emotional pain over the scandal, adding that while she feels “ruined,” she remains determined to regain control of her narrative. “Y’all can laugh, but the laughter won’t be for long as long as I serve my God,” she said.
