According to the police commissioner in the FCT, CP Benneth Igweh, two of the robbers who are currently at large escaped with the deceased’s pistol. The police are still investigating the incident and are working to apprehend the remaining suspects.

The retired army general was killed by suspected armed robbers who invaded his residence in the early hours of Saturday. The police have assured that they are doing everything possible to ensure that justice is served.
