Despite rumors to the contrary, Nicki Minaj ‘s split from Meek Mill apparently had nothing to do with either of those things.
According to TMZ , the two rappers broke up after a massive argument they had when they were visiting Turks and Caicos. Apparently Nicki felt that the DC4 artist wasn’t paying her enough attention, preferring to hang out with his friends instead. When Nicki confronted Meek about his behavior, Meek reportedly got heated and decided to just leave the island. For Nicki, that was the last straw, and she broke up with the MMG rapper shortly afterwards. Welp.
Nicki first announced that she was a single woman late last week, tweeting out “To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u.”
