Rivers Rerun: INEC Declares APC’s Maurice Pronem Winner of Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency

The All Progressives Congress candidate for Khana/Gokana federal constituency in Rivers State, Maurice Pronem, has been declared winner of the Saturday’s re-run election in the area by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Pronem was announced winner on Sunday, by the INEC returning officer in the area, G.O Osuagwu.

According to Osuagwu, Pronem emerged winner after polling 68,219 votes ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the re-run election, Dumnamene Dekor, who garnered 20,329 votes.
